Would converting my stormcast in to 40k bladeguard be too much for them to be used in AOS

So recently I have finally started to build my AOS starter set. Originally I was going to use the prosecutors as sanguinary guard in 40k. But they are way too tall. But it gave me another idea which is to use the liberators and a spare Vindicator I have as a 6 man bladeguard squad. But they would need some modifications to do so. My only worry is that these modifications would make them unusable in AOS which is something I want to avoid.

The modifications would be: all 6 would be given a space marine backpack, and a pistol holster(and maybe Grenades) but more importantly the one with the grandhammer would have to be given a shield which may be mounted on his arm or back.

Do you think these modifications would matter too much? And if they are too much any advice for minimising the effect they have?
