Soul wars box

So im thinking of starting an AoS army (currently have 3 40k and feeling something different). And i found the Soul wars box half for cheap second hand. I read that some parts are not really usable and that the sculpts are old. You guys advice me to get it or skip it and wait for the new box? ( I paint mostly so looking for nice models to paint rather than the absolute meta)
