So... Is there a story yet?

I'm level 18, doing contracts in Denbrie. Last story-related interaction I had in the game was going back to the caravan after leaving Gwynel's house and talking to Verren. He said we should ask around/ do contracts in RWT and Denbrie. Well... I've done both and now I'm a bit lost. I haven't seen anything in either place to progress the story at all. Does the story continue? Did I miss something/someone? or is there just almost nothing done?
