Newly Married Stepmom

Hi I recently got married and moved into my husbands house. When my husband was single my SS would sleep in the bed with him and use the master bath.

Now that we’re married, my SS sleeps in this own room but still uses the master bath room.

The issue I’m having is I need to have my own space, a safe space. I am also pregnant, and extremely tired. Having my husband waking up and shower and wake me up is par for the course. But it’s irritating having to share my bathroom with a 10yo.

For example, this morning around the time I would get up my husband gets in the shower, the 10yo is brushing his teeth, but I see him close the bathroom doors. Which makes me feel uncomfortable, bc I just moved away from my hometown and into my SO house. It makes me feel awkward and unwelcome like I’m intruding.

In reality I wish my SS was in the bathroom, so I could actually get up, pee and greet my husband.

Any advice on how to bring this up to my husband.
