Steelseries arctis 1 headset mic stopped working

I don’t know what’s wrong, I was switching my wired Xbox controller over to my computer whilst my arctis 1 was plugged into the controller and ever since then, the headset mic just completely stopped working. Windows recognizes the device but it does not work. I tried plugging the mic itself directly into the computer and that worked but the mic won’t work when connected wirelessly to my computer, even though I can still hear fine through it. Please help me

EDIT : the headset mic works perfectly fine on my other devices it’s only my pc I really can’t begin to fathom what would cause this
