Need some advice

So I'm new to cooking steak and wanted to try cooking it as I now work in a meat market. So I think I cooked it good it tastes great. Except some parts are very tough and the fat is very squishy and not so appetizing. I blurred out what I had left as to not disgust some people. Did I not cook it properly or is this normal? It's bone in ribeye and pulled at 130 internal. Cooked it in a cast iron any advice would be greatly appreciated.
