Internal Theft?

Just wanted some advice on whether or not to report a partner from a different store for internal theft. I’m feeling conflicted because snitches get stitches, or maybe they weren’t being serious, but I also want to do what’s right?

I used to be at the same store with this partner and we recently got jobs at the same company while still working part time at different stores. We are in the same training, and naturally the fact that this partner works at Starbucks comes up. This partner the mentioned in class how they have been taking a specific product home.

Would it be wrong for me to report this? Or should I just try to let it go?
