Palmetto bug solutions?

Bought a house two years ago and I have not been able to rid my house of these bugs. I clean, I call a pest guy, and I put diatomaceous earth down. Does anyone have any solutions to keep the house free of these suckers or is smashing them every week just how it’s gonna be?
