Refund from Byte Received
I was informed by Care Credit that I was issued a full refund from Byte. I had filed a dispute with Care Credit in addition to requesting a refund directly from Byte. It took weeks of chats with Byte to finally get them to agree to a refund but frankly I didn’t believe them so I kept the dispute open with Care Credit. I also sent Care Credit every chat transcript and communication I had with Byte. I am very relieved.😌 My general advice: -Open a dispute with the entity you used to pay for the aligners - Use Byte chat and insist on a refund due to their Field Safety notice that requested customers halt treatment - in my case I was given false information in my onboarding where I was told TMJ and implants are not a problem (they sure as h*ll are!) - Once stopping treatment my teeth immediately shifted back - so much for reliability.
My feeling is that they are going to go under so file disputes ASAP.
I also filed a complaint with the FDA for negligence .
