Skip stole 200$ from me
The above messages was from my fourth time contacting support for the same issue of not being able to redeem a gift card. Skip has literally stolen 200$ of my parent’s money.
So over a month ago now, my parents bought me a physical $200 gift card. I tried redeeming it the next day and it said code invalid. Oh well, I figured Skip support would be able to help me. Boy how wrong I was on that.
I have been talking to support off and on now since this started and all I get back are the same response. “Someone from the gift card department will contact you in 24 hours… we will send this as a high priority someone will definitely contact you this time.”
Of course I never get any email or response back from any “gift card department”. I am feeling incredibly angry over this and am just wondering what kind of recourse I can take now. I told my mom to contest the charge but unfortunately she used her debit card to purchase the gift card.
Very angry and very frustrated with this company.
