Question: Does AGI need to be better than us at everything? Or just have the potential to become/create something that is?

In a sense, each human specialized in a specific field, whether that is public speaking, engineering, or even medicine.

Yet we seem to expect a general intelligence to be better at us at every field we specialized in. Is this productive?
