My voice lacks the wow factor

I’m a mezzo soprano who sings classical/operatic mostly. I don’t have an outstanding range and my voice isn’t particularly robust or powerful either. I have a very light and delicate sounding voice, which is great for a soprano 1, but as a soprano 2 you can imagine it doesn’t do me much justice. I can sing high super high notes but they don’t come easy to me and I have a hard time performing them. I think my only good defining factor about my voice is that it sounds very dark and haunting sometimes, which I like, but it’s not enough to really play into iykwim.

I’m only in high school right now so I know I have time to find my “wow” factor, but with competitions coming up I really need to find something to help me stand out. If anybody has some tips on finding/developing a wow factor I would really appreciate it!
