What size nose ring?

I want a nose hoop, I was thinking 0.8mm? I want it to make my nostril look a little less flared or just the size slightly bigger to make my nose alars look less wide or "big". What's your opinion? I feel like a stud doesn't complement me idk lol; or should the ring be smaller?
