Seeing so many Sunnis gloating and celebrating Israel's (proxy) victory made me finally say it loudly, proudly and with intent: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا وَلِيُّ ٱللَّٰهِ
When I first said the shahada, I knew nothing about Tashayu. Then I was a "Sushi" Muslim for a number of years but slowly began leaning more and more towards Tashayu over the past year or two. Today was the final straw. The "Sunni" part of that is completely severed and only the "Shi'a" is left. Not all Sunnis are the same, of course; many I consider true brothers in Islam and many, in spite of differences of understanding, sincerely love Ahlul Bayt. Still, the entire Sunni political establishment is rotten to the core and its "scholars" are, with a few exceptions here and there, clowns who preach an ersatz Islam.
