Payment declined but order went through?
I ordered food on the sheetz app with Apple Pay, and it confirmed the purchase. I drove by to pick it up right after, and grabbed it when it was done. However, when I got home, I got an alert the charge was declined (had accidentally picked a card whose number had expired, got a new one last month). My account didn’t get charged but I already got the food. I feel kind of shitty, but what was I supposed to do? How often does this even happened? I assume the paid flag went through to the employees and they didn’t think twice.
