How to reliably make a URL for a Desktop?

is there any good guide on setting up caddy or some other reverse proxy with a router?

Ive used tailscale to make my desktops publicly discoverable, but i want a permanent URL to my desktops.

i got caddy working with cloudflare a few months ago at my families house in texas, but when they switched the router, the IP no longer works :(
