Is dating for relationship any different from casual dating?

If your goal is to be in LTR do you act diffrently on a dates? I found that taking things slow, not being physical, not trying to kiss, being platonic and trying to get to know her first leads to me not getting second date. So if I want a relationship do I just try to sleep with a girl and wait for her to bring up a topic? That’s kinda frustrating that women talk they like to take things slow and get to know each other they reject you if you do, but if you kiss them on first date you will likely get second one.
