DISABLE THIS APP, SERIOUSLY
Im using an s22 ultra. Apparently, this app is rooted to your phone and allows your carrier to install whatever app or system they like, whenever they like, without your permission, and nobody even talks about this
I opened up my phone to find 3 new apps installed and on my home screen, 2 of the 3 are extremely sketchy, the other was Pinterest. I had a notification that said mobile services manager had installed these apps
What's the point of security patches when you have literal malware installed at the root level of every single phone you buy??
Disable this app immediately, you cannot delete it easily, because it's at the root level, but disabling it apparently works wel enough.
My question is, what the hell compels my carrier to install "Vita Mahjong" and "Power Pop Blast" randomly?? Seriously, why would they do that?
Why would they invade my phone/privacy, break any remaining trust between me and them, to install a bubble pop game? Is some random Chinese developer of bubble pop game paying them tens of millions to do this?
Here's a link to a thorough explanation of the issue. https://www.reddit.com/r/lgv20/comments/6u0wnf/comment/dmj3zy6/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
