How long does Samsung support software and security updates for phones?

I currently have a Google Pixel phone and was disappointed to learn that Google only supported software and security updates for 3 years for this model.

The most recently discovered security flaw won't be covered for my model in the patches that are being sent out.

I'm looking to replace my phone and wondered if Samsung supports their devices for longer than 3 years?
