How do I progress learning Russian?

I’ve been trying to learn Russian for almost a year now with just Duolingo but I realize that I haven’t learned anything really. Nothing I’ve learned from Duolingo aside from mainly the Cyrillic alphabet and a couple words have stuck with me. But other than that I can’t properly form sentences myself. Or know how to conjugate words properly. I recently started watching some YouTube videos to help me learn Russian more efficiently and in depth but other than that I still use Duolingo. What would you recommend I do or what recourses can you guys give me to help me learn better?
