RPGs that have mechanics for you doing routine things but isn't too complex

Not fully sure how to explain this, but I'll try my best.

I absolutely love how the Year Zero Games (especially forbidden lands and T2k) have mechanics for traveling. and you must make a decision each quarter of the day. It makes it feel like it's not just all improvisation and the system does a lot of the GMing for you. On top of that, the mechanics don't just concentrate on the big events, but also on the small decisions and what you normally do.

Are there any other games like this? I'm not too big on the GURPs style of doing things where it just has 1000 possible mechanics as a toolkit. I mean more like the Forbidden Lands style of things.
