Letters down 70%

I, like most posties come in to a full box and a bit of walk sort letter.... are they trying to tell me 10 years ago it was about 5 full boxes of walk sort!

I'm old, but I'm not that old.

The letters may have dropped slightly, but it's not noticeable to posties as during covid years they increased the sizes of our duties.

What we heard on bbc this morning was 2nd class letters every other day, which would ease the workload of the postman, but what they failed to say was the trials RM are conducting which will see posties covering 2 duties with parcels and first class letters.

The changes are not to fix or improve the service, it's to cut more costs and focus on parcel delivery
