Redundancies in 2025 due to revision and take over, who will be targeted?
I’ve been there less than 2 years so can be made redundant with out pay, managers and union said that they have to offer you something in the area and make redundancy your choice, but many think that’s lies being told over Christmas to keep the peace and not lose staff. Who will be targeted if when they do? Will it be people with less than 2 year experience? Or will they target the old contracts who are more expensive to keep than the new contracts? Will they target those who can’t do their walks due to medical reasons or will they target those whose jobs are indoor focused? Will they offer early retirements to those close to retirement age? Or just keep it simple and get rid of those who have been there less than 2 years?
