Wishes for next year's lineup

So, what are your wishes for next year's lineup?

As someone who has attended for the past 9 years and would therefor prefer artists who have not recently played the festival, my personal top 3 would be something like:

1. Ichiko Aoba

I've seen her twice in Copenhagen, and she is amazing live - the first one was probably the best concert I've ever seen. Should be an affordable booking, and would be a slam dunk at Gloria (preferably while there isn't something super loud playing nearby).

2. Radiohead

Their last concert in Denmark was at Northside in 2017, so they are due for a return. Thom Yorke does seem to be enjoying life with The Smile (who were pretty great at last year's festival) at the moment, so it is unlikely that Radiohead are getting back together anytime soon - but if they did, I have hard time seeing how an Orange concert would be anything but amazing.

3. Depeche Mode

I've seen them three times in stadiums, and they always deliver - however, I would love to see them perform for a younger audience at Orange. They have never played there before, so they seem fitting as the big yearly legacy act - with plenty of songs to sing along with.

Other honorable mentions:

- Joe Hisaishi (would be amazing, but I have a hard time seeing it happen - though Roskilde has had a similar artist perform in Ryuichi Sakamoto (RIP))

- MGMT (plenty of nostalgia factor, but it also hasn't been that long since their last great record, Little Dark Age in 2018)

- Kanye West (yeah, never gonna happen now. Personally, I would be fine with him playing if he unequivocally denounced all his far-right escapades, but even then, I can't see Roskilde booking him ever again. Would have an amazing back catalogue to choose from, though.) EDIT: Yeah, you're right, ignore this one...

- Aphex Twin (I just saw him at Syd for Solen, really a big experience - and he is touring again)

- Parannoul (Judging by his latest live album, his concerts sound full of potential)

- Tricot (great live band)

- Sufjan Stevens (great and varied back catalogue to pick from)

- Weezer (very hit or miss back catalogue, but plenty of great songs to create a setlist, and they very rarely perform in Denmark)
