Sourdough starter?
Hello fellow bakers. I’m new in town and I’m reaching out to ask if anyone has a strong sourdough starter that I could possible get some discard from.
I’m a longtime sour dough baker, but my wife and I have been on the Appalachian Trail for the last 7 months. I froze my starter, and now that we’re settled, I thawed it out and fed it a few days ago, and unfortunately it didn’t survive.
I’d appreciate it if I could get some discard from someone, or if anyone knows of a bakery in town that would be willing to give me some discard, I’d be happy to try that too. Thank you! 🥖 🍞
