LA-Yosemite-Vegas-Grand Canyon Roadtrip in March
Hey, I am planning a roughly 2 week roadtrip and haven’t done one before so I would like a reality check if I’m being too ambitious. My plan is to arrive mid March at LAX 3 nights in LA 1 night: Visalia 4 nights: Yosemite valley 1 night: South Lake Tahoe 1 night: lone pine 2 nights: vegas 2 nights: Zion 1 night: Grand Canyon village 1 night: kingman 1 night: LA then fly home
I understand some roads in Yosemite and the 395 may be closed or require snow chains, which I can’t use on the rental. Will probably have to stay put or reorganise things if there are snow storms.
I’d love to hear whether we are missing things or recommendations for how best to do this area!
We would have loved to include San Francisco after Yosemite but this is definitely too ambitious
