Unpopular Opinion: I think it is kinda lame when people criticize or talk trash about today's R&B music but they admit they haven't listened to a new record in years.

I'm ok with someone who have critiques of recent R&B music as I do to. But to see people make blanket statements when all they listen to is music that came out are music that’s (if we're lucky) that's all the up to mid-2010s at the most recent.

That's like a movie fanatic saying blockbusters nowadays suck but they haven't seen a big blockbuster and only watch mostly older movies. Again if you don't like R&B nowadays that's ok but have you at least taken time to look at who's big nowadays, who's new or who making music that's doing well on Spotify or R&B charts?
