Vaughn Grissom is not a bust
I've seen a lot of "Grissom is a AAAA player", "the next Bobby Dalbec", "the Sox didn't get anything for Chris Sale" and etc, I could go on but you get the point.
He is 23 years old, and was the youngest player on the team to start the year, he's had 2 different hamstring injuries this year, one to each leg, including cutting his off season short, and he had the flu and reportedly lost 14 pounds.
He had an OPS+ of 119 in 41 games for the Braves as a 21 year old. For reference, Jarren Duran debuted at 24, played 33 games and had an OPS+ of 53, I think he turned out OK. They have Grissom under team control until 2030, I think there's plenty of time to see how he plays once he has a chance to be healthy and back in shape (losing 14 pounds isn't a small change), before we decide that he can't play.
