Trump 2024 feels like a much bigger vibe shift than Trump 2016

When Trump won in 2016, it really felt like a fluky underdog win based on a heavily split primary and a deeply-detested candidate nominated by a clueless Democrat elite.

This time feels different. The institutional capture, the cultural dominance, the tacit and explicit approval from corporate America, it all just feels like this is representative of a permanent and significant cultural shift. This is America now.
