Why are the vibes in college different, feels like its turning into a Sorority.

It’s widely believed that women are more likely to outnumber men in college than they were in the past. In 2020, almost 60% of all students were women, and in 2021, it was around 3.1 million more females than males on campuses. Women also have higher graduation rates than men: 67.9% of women graduate, compared to 61.3% of men. In 16 states, over 70% of women graduate, but in only 2 states do men reach that same level.

The number of women in college has increased significantly, with many taking more advanced placement courses and taking more degree programs at every level. On the other hand, men are dropping out, with a third of those who didn't finish college stating that they would not like to finish. This is a sign that the vibes are changing for most degrees, but not all for instance in Engineering and Math, I still see it as a male dominated. Strangely at the Ivy league they maintain close to a 50/50 ratio, compared to other good schools like NYU.

The increasing number of women in college has caused campus life to feel like it's turning into a giant sorority. There are more classes full of women, and men are either in their engineering courses or are just not showing up. Is this going to change the vibes for college in the long term?
