2019> Window Regulator

Has anyone else had an issue with a window regulator needing replacing? I've just had a battle with Toyota Canada and my dealer, going from owing $1500 to replace the entire regulator assembly to $154 with out of warranty goodwill. Apparently it's an issue on the 2019 onward in cold climates.
