Is my PC ready for 7900XT Upgrade?

My current PC has a 5600x, RTX 3070, B450 Tomahawk Max, 16(2x8) GB Trident Z CL14 RAM, 1TB Samsung M.2 SSD (OS + 3-4 games), a couple of cheap 256GB SSDs, 4+2TB spinning drives, and a new MSi 750w PS. I recently bought a 42" C4 OLED to use as a monitor; the 3070 allows me to play light games at 4k, but anything more sustantial requires painstaking graphics adjustments to run smoothly. Games I play most are Forza Horizon 5, CoD, World of Warships, and Jedi Survivor. Two questions:

Is the 7900xt a worthwhile upgrade to the 3070 for mild-to-moderate 4k gaming?

Is my build likely a good host for a direct swap, or do I need any supporting upgrades first?
