What small details do you wish they had expanded more on?

I’ve personally always wished we saw or learned more about the other characters’ families. Namely Vic/Deb and Emmett’s. At one point, Deb mentions a sister (who wouldn’t let her kid come over after Michael came out) and we always get little tidbits about Emmett’s big family. Given that these family members are estranged and/or unsupportive, it makes sense that they wouldn’t make an appearance, but I can’t help but wish we got more. (Mainly I just want more of those three in general, tbh) I also think it would’ve been great to see Ben’s mom, as well! Seeing her and Deb (the super supportive mom squad) interact would’ve been awesome!

But yeah, I’m curious to know what little things that are mentioned off handedly that others wish was given more attention and development? Or things that were retconned later on that you wish they had stuck with?
