Has anyone left construction PM and what did you do?

I did an undergrad in Quantity Surveying and chose to start work as a Project Manager at a small consultancy for just under a year now. They’re putting me through my rics etc but I’m just pretty unmotivated to achieve it. I just don’t find the construction industry as a whole interesting.

Has anyone left the industry and what did you do? I think I’d prefer a career in finance or similar client facing role. Any advice? Is it a case of stick it out?
