Cooking classes that are not super expensive?

We are visiting Doha in a few weeks and I have spent hours searching for cooking classes - and so far have found two, each over 1000 USD/EUR for 2 people.

As much as I love cooking dishes from the countries we visit, this is waaay outside my budget.

Hoping someone has recommendations or leads.
