Building anything worthwhile in B42 is the equivalent of a full time job.
I want to craft armour and weapons, therefore I need a forge.
To build a forge, I managed to find everything I need except a large bellow, since the medium one won't do (for some reason?) Anyway, my path was clear :
I have everything to craft a large bellow, except medium leather.
I find a pig, I kill the pig and I get the medium leather.
I need to tan the leather, so I find the pig's brain I almost threw away ( I have no idea why I need it).
I use the pig's brain to wet the leather, but I need a tanning rack.
I can't get a tanning rack because I need long sticks. I can't craft them since I need saplings and can't find any.
After an hour, I find the 6 long sticks I need to craft the large tanning rack.
However, I realize after building the large tanning rack that it only tans larger leather, but not medium leather. Which means, I have to go around Muldraugh, for the 2nd time, to gather long sticks. Why the 20 planks I have won't do, I don't know.
Keep in mind, in a 6 hour long playing session I still haven't come close to what I wanted to do which was crafting armour and weapons. Which I also wouldn't be able to do because, of course, my blacksmithing level is too low. But I also can't practice it because I can't get a forge going! I was drawn to the game for its complexity but, at some point, items are so numerous it feels pointless.
