M/27/5’11” [188lbs > 165lbs = -23lbs] (6months) Weight Loss / Body Recomposition Journey
Started my weight loss journey at 220 lbs back in January 2023. By May 2024 (left photo), I had worked my way down to 188 lbs. But I still wasn’t fully happy with how I looked.
I decided to take things to the next level and committed to a photoshoot for middle of November, working remotely with a coach to fine-tune everything.
Now, six months later, I’m at 165 lbs—the fittest and happiest I’ve ever been! I might plan to add a bit more muscle in the future but for now I’m just going to enjoy life.
I’ve been lurking here for ages, and seen many great transformations, but today I’m so proud of how far I’ve come that I finally wanted to share. 🥳
PS: it’s quite insane the impact of a tan, good lighting, a photographer and a splash of baby oil can have. So if you ever see or idolise someone in a sports magazine just know they likely don’t walk around in the same shape they look in the magazine (lots of variables are controlled to create the best image 😅)
