Lately, I have been researching Hadith Authenticity: Today’s Jummah was about hathees Doubters. Is this a message from Allah?
Guys, lately I’ve been diving into hadith skepticism, listening to Quranists, hadith skeptics, and even checking out what popular Sunni imams have to say about these views, all to genuinely understand. So I roll up to Jummah today, and guess what the sermon’s about? Hadith doubters! And about the works of the main scholars like Bukhari. Mind blown. Is this some kind of message from Allah? Lol
Someone asked to summarise the sermon. Here’s the link if anyone wants to listen to it:

Someone asked for a summary. My memory is bad but here’s a bit I remember -
He spoke about the dedication of Imam Bukhari, who met people connected to the Sahabas and devoted his entire life to compiling hadith. He highlighted how carefully Imam Bukhari recorded these narrations, even praying Istikhara before writing down each hadith. The main point was that we shouldn’t dismiss the works of scholars like him simply because we come across a Quranic verse without fully understanding its context. He emphasized that these scholars were not only highly knowledgeable in Arabic but also deeply committed to their work. He also pointed out a growing trend where people challenge local imams who have spent years studying various Islamic fiqhs based on minimal online research or surface level information (paraphrasing this part, of course). I have to say, I really like this imam he’s soft-spoken and approachable.
