Moving in the 3rd trimester

This has to be one of the worst experiences one can go through right?? We moved house less than a week ago when I was 35w2d pregnant and it has been horrible. I am grateful that we are finally in though, as it took us 7 months to complete the sale.. I just wish we were able to move in a bit earlier in my pregnancy. People in my due date FB group already have fully decorated nurseries, however my baby’s nursery is only painted so far 😭 we haven’t put wallpaper up, and we’ve been using it as a storage room for all of our unpacked cardboard boxes as well as some packed stuff. Her clothes are all in boxes still. I just managed to set up her travel system yesterday.. I have all the stuff I need for her, they’re just all still packed. I’m hoping my husband will build her chest of drawers this weekend so I can at least organize her clothes and changing station. It doesn’t help that we’re also doing some work on the house, so it’ll still be a WIP by the time she gets here. There’s no way we’ll finish all the painting and decorating before January or end of December. Thankfully I at least have my hospital bag packed so that’s one thing that’s ready. Has anyone else moved house in the 3rd trimester? I know I shouldn’t be pressuring myself to get everything ready before she’s here.. but I just don’t see myself being able to unpack boxes with a newborn. Looking for people to complain with me 😭
