Water prop leaves dying?

Hello pothos people! I’m wondering if anyone can tell me what might be going on here and what, if anything, I should do about it. I panic-chopped my golden pothos after accidentally overwatering it because it seemed to be in the early stages of root rot. As you can see, some of the cuttings have been doing fine, while some of them have progressively turned yellow and brown (they were originally mixed in with the healthy cuttings, but once they started yellowing I segregated them just in case). I’ve been treating all the cuttings the same way and the sickly-looking ones have been rooting just as well as the healthy ones. Does anyone know what might be going on here? Will these cuttings be viable for an eventual transfer to soil? I’ve also been thinking about taking them out of the water, removing the leaves, and trying to prop them in soil with some other leaf-less nodes I’m attempting to prop from the same plant. Any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated :)
