Should I Columbia PostBacc PreMed?

I'm a recent liberal arts graduate from NYC, and I'm currently exploring post-baccalaureate programs. I've talked to a few people from Columbia GS about their program, and it seems fantastic, but the cost is quite high for my budget. I'm also looking into more affordable options, such as CCNY or Lehman College.

My concern is that the MCAT scores at Lehman, at least, weren't very impressive, and of course, it's not Columbia. I'm reluctant to take on significant debt to attend Columbia, and if it's worth it for the quality of education and opportunities it offers. For context, the program costs 3-4x the total loans I accumulated over my 4 years of undergrad from a private school in the city.

I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with any of these programs or has advice on potential scholarships or grants. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
