FYI - Canada Post is marking orders delivered when they are actually handing them off to another company for delivery

Thought I would share this with everyone, I am a buyer in downtown Toronto, I purchased an item from a seller who also happens to be in downtown Toronto. The seller put my item in the post Saturday, and on Monday Canada Post marked it as 'delivered.' However, apparently they passed the package off to another company to do the final delivery (it seems to be in Mississauga at the moment). In Poshmark's system it is now showing as 'Delivered', and the tracking page also says this with a notes on the page saying "Delivered to recipient's delivery partner." And "Delivery pending". Anyways, I don't want to accept the item until I actually check it obviously (and because I don't actually know if it will even show up), and I expect that the Poshmark system will auto-accept it soon. I called Canada Post and got some automated assistance saying that they would update me with a new tracking number, which I have not yet received. Anyways, I just wanted to share this information with everyone. My gripe is with Canada Post marking items as delivered when they are just passing their contracted work off to other carriers and not even telling you who it is or providing a new tracking ID (I did send this info to Poshmark, hopefully they can tell them to hold off doing that).
