Please help me save my dragon tree

I went on holiday, told my aunty to water it once every 2 weeks. Anyway, she overwatered it. The stem is hard, roots aren’t mushy but water was stagnant at the bottom so maybe there’s root rot?

Over half of the leaves have fallen off at the stem, some went yellow at the tips. What do I do?
