Do Not buy from Ron Lewis Cranberry

I have never dealt with such a slimy unprofessional dealership.

I visited them yesterday to view a car my dad was interested in purchasing immediately. While I was there a manager mentioned someone else that was interested but they chose not to move forward because the jeep was getting a repair and the part hadn’t arrived yet. My dad submitted an offer last night for the asking price with pre approval for financing and was told they would finalize everything this morning after their morning meeting.

Someone in the dealership must have reached out to the other person that was interested and told them about the offer. He submitted an offer this morning and the general manager chose the new offer because he saw greater potential for that person to be a repeat customer in the future. The kicker? While I was at the dealership looking at the jeep, I told them multiple times how I have owned several jeeps and will again in the future so in trying to secure “future business” their general manager lost me and my father as potential future business. I will never buy from a Ron Lewis dealership and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone else. Who wants to buy from a place that will judge you not from your current offer but by your perceived potential value to them?!?

Update: they have now called my dad claiming the car was sold last week which is a lie. 1. Why would they allow me to test drive a sold car? 2. They literally had a discussion in front of me about how the other person didn’t put money down because of the repair the car needed and a part that would take 3 to 5 days to get in the shop. They asked him for my number to talk to me as well.
