MF lens with an AF and MF body

hi i have an canon eos m100 and I want to buy a lens but the only available one is in MF but as u know canon eos m100 has built in mf and af setting since the kit lens doesn't, can i buy the MF lens and use both MF and AF feature based on the body? im new to this things but if u can kindly answer, that would be much appreciated! thank u!
