Right now I have a 5600x and a 8gb RTX4060, but it just lags as the 8gb aren’t enough, and the cpu reaches 100% all the time, that’s why I want an upgrade.

Buying list: Mobo: ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS CPU: Ryzen 7950x RAM: Corsair Vengeance 96GB DDR5 5600MHZ CL40 (2X48GB) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH G15 SSD: NVME 2Tb GPU: 4070Ti SUPER 16Gb Zotac PSU: Corsair RM850X Case: Corsair 3000D Airflow

In a first moment, I was going to grab a 4x32gb Fury Beast DDR5 6000MHZ CL36, but I read that 4 modules wouldn’t be as good and as fast and as reliable as 2 modules, so I changed for 2x48gb. Is it a good idea?

Also: is it worth to wait for a 9950x and spend 150€ more? I’ve seen the difference is pretty small, right? The same for GPU. I know the 5000 series is around the corner but I think the speed is not the problem for my usage, but the GPU memory. Is the new 5000 series mid tier (5060-5070) going to have more than 16gb?
