The "gamer aesthetic" is beyond awful, tacky, and gaudy

I've noticed that almost all PC accessories that are marketed towards gamers just have this aesthetic that is awful, tacky, and gaudy. And a quick visit to the PC Master Race subreddit shows that almost all builds have the same side window and RGB aesthetic.

I used to think that aesthetic was OK back when I was a teen, but now it's just cringe to me. It reminds me of ricers with modded Honda Civics.
