Sureshot ways to get a guy

I’m super attracted to this guy and would like to take it forward. He’s extremely smart and funny and much older than me but it’s so hard to drop a hint! How do you guys deal with this? What has worked I’d need perspective from both men and women.

Background is that the guy works at NASA and is always talking about serious world issues… and me sending funny memes isn’t really helping. And yes he’s Pakistani but stayed in the US most his life.
