Is Hinduism considered pagan?

I was reading through about pagan religions and Hinduism has several Indras and Varunas and Agnis (14 of each) and it's more a rank of god that you can reach.

Interestingly enough many Indras had something similar to Zeus or Thor, for example 3rd India killed the Hindu version of world serpent and was immensely strong and a valiant warrior, one India was a little perverted (like Zeus) he would change his forms to get with the women he liked...he stopped after he was cursed.

Thirdly the names of god's like Dasyupitr , Jupiter , Zeus Pitra are very similar and hold a similar position in the pantheon.

To make matters even more interesting in valmikis Ramayana, Indra is said to carve a 9 headed trident in a mountaneous region which can be described as South America, and guess what there's is a very similar trident in Peru which there people say was made by their thunder god.

I still believe that there must be a connection between all pagan religions
