ADVICE PLEASE ON 4 TEETH EXTRACTION AND BRACES

SO I (29F) have a severe overjet which has bothered me all my life went to the orthodontist today and he suggested 4 teeth extraction and braces will fix this. I agreed to this but I am now panicking after reading things on the internet the negative effect this can have on your facial profile! I absolutely despise my side profile so guys… can it really get any worse? Is it really that bad for you? I’m really worrying!! Please can I hear some good news stories!!
